If you go to Lafayette Pub, try to hit Arcelia's first for some killer Mex Tex/Mex food. It's down the street on Park.

I'm from Sweden. Trust me. We get more snow that this.
Anyone going down there? I´ll be wearing a Sweden Rock Cap.

I'll be at the game on Saturday vs. Colorado.
It would actually be a pretty big win, considering they are a few points ahead of us right now.

Dude, you going to leave us hanging or what? How was the trip? What did you think of the States? Run into a lot of queers in St. Louis? Did you fly into Metro and then over to Chicago?

Okay, so I'm guessing this dude not have a good time in St. Louis.
Way to make impression to.
We haven't heard from this guy since his trip. I'm going to go out on a limb and say he didn't make his flight back.

Word is Bush's cronies locked him up as an expected terrorist on his way out of the country.

I was supposed to meet up with them at Flannery's before the game but that didn't pan out either.
Maybe they're wandering around the East Side still after blowing the airfare on strippers.

It puts the lotion on it's skin

Sorry guys for the delay.Steve Levy Sucks wrote:Dude, you going to leave us hanging or what? How was the trip? What did you think of the States? Run into a lot of queers in St. Louis? Did you fly into Metro and then over to Chicago?
Read all about the trip here.

If for some unknown reason, you don't know swedish i will give you a short recap of the trip.
I loved St. Louis. If I could I would get a job and move there right away. Weather was totally crap and we drove into town in a blizzard, but I loved the town.
Met a lot of beautiful women and people were very friendly and helpfull. Big thanks to Andy Strickland who helped us to get access to the Blues locker-room and meet the players.
Christian Bäckman invited us for dinner at the restaurant during the Tampa Game. World class guy.
He had nothing but good things to say about the town and the fans in St. Louis so please give the guy a break when he comes back with CBJ.
Mardi gras was a fun experience but a little overrated. We was to join the festivities after the Blues-Avs game only to find that the Soulard area was closed down and no action at 10 pm. Thats when the party starts in Sweden. We went down to the Landing but the lines were insane to get into the clubs and once inside you could not breathe due to the smoking (not allowed in public places in Sweden).
Watched the SuperBowl at PT'S Sports Cabaret. Great place. You don't see places like that in Sweden i tell you. Got to know a stripper there. Still keep in touch

Supposed to meet Prngr44 and some guys at Flannerys but don't now if they turned up. Pretty good place anyway.
Loved St. Louis and it was actually hard to see the Arch disappear inte the rearview mirror. Hopefully i'll be back soon but this year it will probably be New York if The Blues gets a roadtrip there.
Trip was great. The US is always great. Peolpe who talk shit never visited USA or spoke to an American. Queers? Not so many i think.
Take care guys

USA! USA! USA!
Re: Looking for some advises on interesting places and stuff...
glad you enjoyed it!
i visited st. louis in april and was able to catch the blues last home game of the year against Columbus, as well as 2 cardinals games against washington. St.Louis will always be a place dear to me. It was so hard to get on the plane and come back here
my trip isn't nearly as far as yours is though.

If you come to NY, let me know.
By my latest count, there's 2 of us on here, and interestingly I've never met the other even though we're only about 45 minutes apart.
I'm hoping for a 3 game NY metro area set and to be able to get to all 3.
