After all your bullshit spouting about how ignorant Mac users are, I'm amazed that you couldn't figure this out. Aren't you a super computer genius Windows guy?

It not like a google search could have answered your question or anything.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&clie ... rs&spell=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
1) I've used 4 different brand MP3 players before. The other three didn't require me to investigate how to add music to them.

2) I've used 4 different brand MP3 players before. None of the other three every prompted me to erase all my songs as soon as I plugged it in. In fact, I'm pretty sure that no product I've ever used has prompted me to erase everything when plugging it in. Did your DVR ask you if you wanted to erase everything when you got home from work today? I bet if it did you would think that it's a flawed product.

3) Sync mode was and is still off. If I hit cancel when it conveniently asked me to erase all my songs, the iPod didn't show up under devices. How exactly do I adjust the settings of something that isn't there.

1) I plug iPod into laptop
2) iTunes prompts me w/ the following options: "Erase and Re-sync" and "Cancel".

That's not a DRM issue.

My wife wanted an mp3 player to work out to and they had just dropped the prices on the shuffles. That said, I should have bought something else.

Are you going between Windows and OS X?

He's never touched OS X in his life.

Forget it OS. You are too biased to even try. Return your iPod. Asking you to try and use an Apple product is like asking you to root for the Wings... or be a rational person.

I quit.

Not only have I tried OS X, but I actually like quite a bit about it. If you look back in this thread, the only negative thing I've said about OS X is that it has issues like any other OS. My dislike in this thread was directed torwards Mac Users (who do things like claim that someone who doesn't like an Apple product clearly hasn't used it and/or is irrational in their dislike because no rational person could ever dislike something made by God, err, I mean Apple) and then after having a hell of a time doing what should be a ridiculously simple task using an Apple product, towards iPod. If find it incredible stupid that iTunes asks me to erase all my songs off my iPod. If you think that makes me irrational, you need to have your head checked because it's you that's being biased.

No, the message says something about not being able to sync to multiple iTunes libraries, even though, like I said, that I dont have auto sync turned on.

So in other words, you hate Apple users who act exactly like you?

So I'm unreasonable for expecting a device that I purchased to allow me to add music from any of the three computers that I regularly use?

No, but you have been acting like an unreasonable douche for this entire thread. I figured you were on a roll.

Try posing the question again, only less douchy.

The less you act like a complete ASSHOLE, the less people react to you in an ASSHOLEISH fashion. It's a tough concept to grasp, I know.

If you think I'm the one acting like an asshole in this thread I think you need to review your posts. I have displayed my displeasure with certain things in this thread, but you have directly attacked me numerous times now. All you have done is confirm my feelings about the typical Mac user.

Well, when I annoy people enough to cause them to create their own forum (with primary purpose of getting away from you) let me know. Until then, you can retain your title as king of the internet assholes.

This conversation is over.

Can you please check with BBZ and verify that I was the cause. Cause I'd really like to say that I was the real reason. That would be awesome.

Sports Lounge, not the other place. And yes, it was because of you. When I was a mod here, I would get a constant stream of PMs with people endlessly bitching about you.

I always defended you. What I didn't realize at the time, is that you were just kissing my ass because I was a mod. Pretty smart on your part.

Yeah, I think you're sol with the Shuffle. That's probably part of the reason it's so freaking cheap, that and that its battery will die and then the device is worthless.

In case you hadn't noticed, we had moved past this part of the conversation and are currently bitching at each other like teenaged girls. Get with the program.

First of all, SportsLounge was created with 007's failed campaign to get me banned failed. And I will gladly take credit for ridding this place of that douchebag.

Secondly, I never kissed your ass. Honestly, I dont even remember you being a moderator and couldn't tell you who are the moderators on this site right now. Have you really been posting on a board with me for almost 10 years and still not figured me out? I don't care who you are, my best friend, my own mom, if I don't agree with something I tell it like it is.. or at least how I think it is. If that offends you, sorry, don't read my posts. Curt added an ignore feature to help you out.
