Not that I particularly disliked either of them and 800k is a steal for either, really... But I'd have liked room for at least one Rookie (without losing/trading one).

Great contract for Winchester. Now they can see if it was just a fluke year or not (which I don't think it was). This contract will keep him hungry.

I could care less about the Winchester signing, couldn't be happier about the Weaver signing. He is a little undersized but I think he was biggest unsung hero this year, dude was probably the most consistent, solid d-man we had all year. I would take him over Jackman or Brewer, anyday.
