Russell Crowe -- Dead...?

Postby cprice12 » Thu Jun 10, 2010 11:42 am

Lots of rumors online about his death. Apparently he fell 50ft. off of a mountain filming a new movie in Australia.

Couldn't have- 3 celebs have already died in sequence.

Unless he's starting a new grouping :?

Russell Crowe tweeted that he died, so I guess he did:

"russellcrowe: Unable to answer tweets fell off a mountain in Austria, all over red rover. Don't know how i got there, but the media are never wrong.G'Bye."

Looks like there wasn't anything to the reports of Crowe's death, much like the threats of more years of Mason.

I've seen Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind, 3:10 to Yuma, Cinderella Man, and my all-time favorite MYSTERY ALASKA.

Not a fan of any of those?

You wanna talk about shitty actors being overrated, I think you gotta go Nick Cage or my all-time arch nemesis, Kurt Russell, or others of that ilk.

Edit: So, after reading what you wrote and my responses, I am gonna go out on a limb and say I didn't catch the sarcasm in your original post. Now I am just confused.

I like some of Nick Cage's stuff, but Next, The Wickerman and Ghost Rider really ruined him for me.

I enjoyed Matchstick Men and Family Man.

I liked Cage in The Weather Man. It's pretty good if you like dark comedies. But I've known the movie to weird some people out before too...

Yea, maybe some don't like Russell Crowe individually but he's in some great movies.

I was being sarcastic about him dying, obviously wishing for somebodies death due to poor acting abilities is a bit off the charts.

3:10 to Yuma was a decent movie and I probably would have enjoyed Mystery Alaska a bit more had they not cast him in it, but yes, he's highly over-rated.

Nick Cage is over-rated as well, though I like the movie Con Air. Haven't seen Matchstick Men or Family Man yet, though I'll make it a point to.

Russell did some really poor movies but was/is banging Goldie Hawn so I can't be too harsh about him.

Well, I figured you weren't being serious about wishing for his death. I thought you were being sarcastic about him being overrated, to each his own, I guess.
