Going through the Rivermen roster, Oystrick has been the best minor league player of all of them in his 4 years in the minors. Consistent in scoring. 15 goals in b2b 80 games seasons and 7 goals in 42 games. That's consistency. And he is not afraid to drop them, but doesn't always fight so well. 1-2-1 on his fight card with Atlanta Thrashers last season.

We shall see what he really brings. Heck, the Rivermen are loaded with left-hand shots on defense.

Actually, I think he is supposed to be the designated pressbox warrior. He probably won't see the ice unless the other pressbox warrior falters.

It was said during the game that Oystrick would likely be sent back to Peoria after the game. That would leave Oystrick, Cole, or Cundari to get a callup for the next Blues' game.

Agreed! If Carlo is out for weeks upon weeks, give me Cole!!!! Otherwise, if it's a 2 or 3 games, go with what we have on the big club.
