Option 5. How could I bear to look at myself in the gold-plated 12x12 mirror in the master bath of my new 6000 sq.ft. home?

5, but I would use the money to buy out the stadium, and never let anyone use a ticket.

Thats a funny question...

Here is a twist to it...

I was playing NHL 11 and decided to give the Be A Pro a try. If you don't know already, in NHL 11's Be A Pro, you play the CHL championship and how well you do determines your draft position.

Well, I did okay but was drafted in the 3rd round by who???

The Detroit Redwings.

Yeah, ghey huh?

Well, to my suprise I eventually grew to like the red I wore and enjoyed it more than I thought.

I did the opposite. I was drafted by the Wings and immediately quit and then deleted my Be a Pro and started again. I was then drafted by the Senators. That Be a Pro survived.

  :plusplus:

I played the NHL 10 version twice and did phenomenal in their Prospects Game that you played in to determine draft position.

First time got drafted by the Devils but simulated too much and got buried in the minors. 2nd time I was drafted by the Lightning.

I hate the Be A Pro mode the way NHL 10 has it. Hate it. I could  but I'm just going to bite my tongue.

I'm pretty sure if I got drafted (in the game) by the Red Wings I would do my best to score on my own team as much as possible.

Yeah I bought NHL 10 just for the be a pro mode and absolutely hate it. Considering i bit the bullet and bought a game with a Blackhawk on the cover it was a total waste of money.

As for the thread topic. I wouldn't be a Blues fan without family, and family >> sports loyalty. I'd always cheer for my kid's team to win....

...except maybe against the Blues i'd be OK with it going either way.

If your kid played for Detroit, I think it would be a foregone conclusion that he would be the one who goes either way.

honestly, if my kid was talented enough to play pro sports, I'd just be grateful that they'd be financially set for life, regardless of whomever they play for. It would also be a major plus that I'd be able to live vicariously through my child and maybe finally get that house on Bermuda that I've longed for since I went there a few years ago.

But if they got drafted by Chicago or Detroit, I'd become a religious man and pray nightly that they got traded to St. Louis, or at, worst case scenario, an Eastern Conference team so I didn't have to root against them 8 times a year.

LOL, for what its worth, I only made it 2 games into the regular season before I quit and started my Blues Be-A-GM.

Get this...I never sim games, play all 82...

I started my season 9-1-2 just like the Blues did this year and have hit the 20 game mark with a 5-game losing streak...and in game number 21, Oshie gets hurt with a foot injury that will keep him out for 1-2 weeks.

I'm now 12-7-2.

Just traded EJ and a 1st round pick for Parise. Parise has 0 pts in 3 games.

Enjoying the game quite a bit. If anyone needs sliders, I am one of the top slider gurus in the NHL Community. I'd gladly send a link to anyone interested. They're pretty damn challenging.

In reality, would we trade a healthy EJ for a healthy Parise? I think I might.

If we had a window to extend Parise I would. Trading him for one year isn't worth it.
