Janssen isn't losing his job to Reaves after 3 games. I like Janssen, but at some point skill>being from St. Louis. And, if Reaves continues to perform, that point is very soon.

After 3 games, yes. I'm more optimistic about Reaves than Janssen. Janssen is what he is, and I don't see him improving. Reaves' potential seems to be much better. But, 3 games is hardly enough to be sold on Reaves to the point that we should be ready to dump Janssen.

All Reaves does is go to the front of the net...that doesnt score u goals in the NHL.....wait it does. Hope Reaves can stay up this time, and McRae was 87.5 on FO% against the Mighty Ducks and 100% yesterday....we need someone to be able to do this.

Wouldn't it be awesome if Reaves ended up being a 20+goal scorer? We'd have a fighter and a scorer all in one person. Those are extremely rare. We haven't had one of those since Shanahan. But again, I'm speaking WAY to soon.

Garbage goals count just the same as the Top 10 plays. I'll take them in whatever method anyone can deliver them.

And Reaves has scored 2. When he does something more noteworthy than be in the right place at the right time twice, I'll hop on the bandwagon. There was a point when Janssen had points in 2-3 games in a row a year or two ago. Had that 2-3 game stretch been his first with the Blues, people would have been saying the same thing about him as you are about Reaves.

2 goals, while a good start, isn't time to draw conclusions.

Oh, I hear ya... I was just responding to/agreeing with Waukee that garbage goals count just as much and guys have made whole careers off it. Do I think Reaves will be as successful as any of the guys I cited? Hell no. But if he can pop in 10-15 a year and beat tons of ass along the way, he's a keeper.

ahh, gotcha, totally agree. And, wouldn't shock me if he does. I'm just not as hyped as a lot of others seem to be. At least not yet.
