I agree. I doubt we make the playoffs this year at this point. A 3 game losing streak following the Anaheim game is pretty soul-crushing. But, I've seen crazier things happen I suppose.goon attack wrote:fukken bingo.TheoSqua wrote:It's the woes of a young team. And like it or not this is still a very young team.
this team is very likable as far as I'm concerned and guess what... they still might make the playoffs.
I think so too. I've been up and down on him, but he seems to be finding his niche with Oshie. I agree that he is missing open nets more than we'd like, but some of that is bad luck, some of that will change with maturity.Krigloch the Furious wrote:I forsee Bergy being a powerhouse next year.

Boyes, maybe. Jackman, not a chance. He is our only veteran defenseman, and teams don't usually willingly part with that. Young defensive units make tons of mistakes. I'm torn on Jackman's worth, but I'd be shocked if they trade him, at least without picking somebody else up.glen a richter wrote:I predict Jackman will be traded, along with Boyes, before the deadline. Soooo many close games this year. Soooo many games that we should have won but didn't.letzgoblooz wrote:Wut? He nearly scored the GTG.Nyghtewynd wrote:I'm quickly becoming bored with Oshie. When does he start getting better?
I think you're (understandably) tired of the whole team at this point.
I was most upset this season with Johnson's performance (gone) Conks in the 2nd half (gone) and Boyes (gone tomorrow?)
Those close games early in the season (when we got the breaks) are starting to bite us in the ass.
Karma is a bitch.
For all we know, Stewart was that guy.cprice12 wrote:Soooo many close games this year. Soooo many games that we should have won but didn't.letzgoblooz wrote:Wut? He nearly scored the GTG.Nyghtewynd wrote:I'm quickly becoming bored with Oshie. When does he start getting better?

Frustrating.
One more kick ass player up front...just one and we are probably a playoff team.
Assuming they aren't done building a contender (and I'd be shocked if they are), that's a good place for a young, up and coming team to be. Sure, I'd rather be winning those games. But, when you add a key impact player, and we start winning those games with any sort of consistency, we'll be in really good shape.cprice12 wrote:Soooo many close games this year.
