NO not high at all I will take oshie over berglund any day. Not saying he is bad but he has to learn as with others you get a great opportunity to score you need to cash in more often. Oshie can press and create for himself and others berglund not as dynamic but a big guy and has some power and good hands, but needs to step it up again as do others.

Halak needs to get healthy and play better as well, playoffs next year if they stay healthy the west is tough very tough, I agree need 1 more consistant scorer and goal tending needs to be solid, then comes 2013 may just be the blues year. They need to keep the players we have now the next 2 years and signing of people will be key.

I agree. I doubt we make the playoffs this year at this point. A 3 game losing streak following the Anaheim game is pretty soul-crushing. But, I've seen crazier things happen I suppose.

I forsee Bergy being a powerhouse next year.

I think so too. I've been up and down on him, but he seems to be finding his niche with Oshie. I agree that he is missing open nets more than we'd like, but some of that is bad luck, some of that will change with maturity.

I predict Jackman will be traded, along with Boyes, before the deadline. Returns unknown.

Boyes, maybe. Jackman, not a chance. He is our only veteran defenseman, and teams don't usually willingly part with that. Young defensive units make tons of mistakes. I'm torn on Jackman's worth, but I'd be shocked if they trade him, at least without picking somebody else up.

Speaking of which, Markov, McCabe, and Kaberle are all UFA's after the season. We have a defensive need and a ton of cap space. Let's get one of them. Apparently, Panthers have told McCabe they will not be re-signing him. So, I could see him fitting in well here.

Assuming they aren't done building a contender (and I'd be shocked if they are), that's a good place for a young, up and coming team to be. Sure, I'd rather be winning those games. But, when you add a key impact player, and we start winning those games with any sort of consistency, we'll be in really good shape.
