Nice win yesterday to put us 3.5 games up on both Cin and Mil. I was bothered by Pujols for 2 things last night though:

1. He watched his HR land which landed in the first row. What if it was 2 feet shorter or the LF was able to bat it back into the field of play?

2. His called strike 3 was definitely a strike. Not sure what the outburst was for.

As an aside, I found this funny. The Reds fan message board at Reds.com was talking about the Cards being has-beens when they swept us. A week later, and a 5 game swing in the standings, there is a thread called "Fat Lady Has Sang in 2011" or something to that effect.

How about Albert being to busy whining after that earlier fly out and getting knocked on his azz.

Also, I thought he was going to blow an o ring swinging for the fences last night. He looked like he was batting in a beer league softball game.

Another series win and could sweep today. Got Carp on the hill against Latos. For the sake of my fantasy team, I hope Carp gets the W.

Cruz had an impressive debut last night with 3 hits. And how about Descalso? That dude is clutch. Another game winning hit.

We've gotta start getting Carp some run support. I think he's clearly starting the decline of his career, but he's better than his record. MUCH better.
