Holy balls, I love it when we beat the Wings.

This also puts us at as close as you can get to 1/3 of the way through the season. I'd say 33 points is pretty damn good, especially considering how many of those points have come since the coaching change.

Im glad we won. I am just concerned that the team is starting to fall back into the same old habbit of getting complacent with a coach. I was at the Chicago game and the Wings game and they are coming out flat. Luckily the Wings were just as Flat and we picked it up in the second and third. I almost wonder if the refs hosing us so much motivated us to wanna win more. I guess we will see what happens against Thursday and Saturday.

Unreal how some Wings fans at letsgowings.com saw the Perron-Howard play.

They are talking like Perron lunged into Howard on purpose and threw an elbow, while Stuart did nothing to direct Perron into him.

They also go on to say that Abdelkader barely touched Elliot and Elliot dove.

Geez...Elliot did throw himself back, but Abdelkader smacked him pretty good.

I'm a homer, sure...but wow. They give new meaning to the term "homer" and "rose colored glasses".

Just wanted to say I made it to the game (I'd offered a seat and ninja edited it but no interest so I manned up and went anyway).

Best decision I've made in awhile.

BTW I met a Detroit fan that wasn't a total douchebag. He was with a Blues fan, so on good behavior but he responded well to my good natured ribbing.

I've met quite a few nice Wings fans. In general, it's the idiots that get brave and stupid behind a keyboard that give the fanbase a bad name...which, unfortunately for them, is quite a few.
