There are no more automatic wins in the NHL.

Sometimes the system that a "bad" team works really well against the system of a "good" team, and some days nothing goes your way at all. Random chance plays a factor in every NHL game.

You just never know.

All I know is all of this success is really throwing me for a loop. I keep expecting them to tank and lose like 15 games in a row.

I almost don't know how to react to the Blues doing well. It's been so long that it feels completely foreign to me.

Yeah, I know there aren't any automatic wins, but tonight and Saturday are definitely weaker foes than our average home game.

I kind of have the same thoughts about the Blues going on a long losing streak, but am trying not to expect it and just enjoy the ride while it lasts. I mean, I think we're legit and am not predicting a drought. But, we've been almost conditioned to do so.

Blues keep getting snake bit when there should be a clear shot... the puck keeps hopping right as they are about to shoot which gives Khabibulin enough time to get square to them for the shot or just enough time for the Oilers D to get their stick on it.

Need that PPG to start the 3rd - then dominate like they have been doing the past 9 games.
