Forgive my confusion. One is a low scoring sport where games consistently top the 3 hour mark with a lot of guys standing around for much of the duration. The other is a low scoring sport where games go long if they hit the 2 hour mark and guys are constantly in motion. I just have understood the difference.

The NHL lost its entire 2004-05 season to a lockout and seems to be facing the growing possibility of another one. It would be the third on Bettman's watch.
