Logan Couture - being touted as a playoff MVP through Game 3 - held pointless in Games 4, 5, and 6. Colton Parayko was matched up against him almost every shift in those 3 games and shut him down.... That switch started in Game 3, but the Blues couldn't get Parayko on the ice when Pietrangelo iced it twice. Couture gets on the ice against Petro and winds up scoring the game-tying goal as his last point in the series. Great job by Berube and Van Ryn, especially in Game 5 managing to get Parayko out vs Couture most shifts while being the road team.

The D will have to continue to be strong, and it would be nice to get Dunn back for the finals. Boston is basically San Jose with better goaltending, so I'd expect tighter games where the defense will make a lot of the difference.

Exactly my thoughts! It's like... I get it, we're in the finals, holy crap, but at the same time it's this surreal weird "are we REALLY though?!" feeling haha.

Unbelievable. I'm just SO happy. I really began to wonder if the Blues would ever make it. Obviously I'll be extremely disappointed if the Blues don't win the Cup but even if they don't this has been one hell of a ride and without question the best season in Blues history. Absolutely incredible. Through the stress try to enjoy it everyone!

My dad and I decided to be undisciplined and splurged for expensive cheap seats last minute. He's been a fan since the beginning, and I've been a fan since my first game at the barn almost 30 years ago. With 80 years of fandom between us, being able to share that with him was easily one of the most special moments of my life.
