The Blues had to up their game to beat Arizona yesterday, so I would expect the Coyotes to respond in kind today. Going to be a tough one.

TERRIBLE START! Krug looked lackadasical. Husso wasn't ready for that shot. Then Gunnarsson can't even stay up off the ice when no other skaters are anywhere near him. The Blues look like they are sleeping or drunk. With all the pressure Arizona has put on them early in games, you'd think that the forwards would stay back to help get the puck out of The D Zone safely, under control. Lousy to give up a goal in the first half minute. :cussing: :cussing: :cussing:

An up-and-down period for both teams. But, The Blues play better after their early lapses, and lead by 1. I hope they can keep getting better as the game goes on, as they've had a lot of defensive lapses and have been lucky that they haven't given up 3 or 4 goals.

Barbashev knocks in the rebound from O'Reilly's shot, and The Blues come back quickly from giving up the tying goal. Blues lead 3-2!!!

Decent period by The Blues. But, they are lucky to have a 1-goal lead. I hope they come out with a lot of energy and win this game going away, with a couple late goals and a few empty-netters on top of that.

Good road win! The Blues are much better on the road so far this season. Kyrou, Faulk, and Hoffman continue to get better. Sundqvist is giving his all as usual. I hope Barbashev is going into one of his hot streaks. Husso has his 2nd game in a row giving up a poor concentration-not ready goal, early, and then playing well the rest of the game. His fundamentals look okay. So, I have faith that he'll be an adequate backup. Blues 9-4. Not bad, given all the injuries.

Husso needs to learn how not to set up the defense for failure. Don't put the puck where the forechecker is going.

Nice to see a comeback win and the Blues winning without Schwartz.
