This is a crazy longshot, but with 3 Blues prospects playing in 3 different CHL leagues and all on good teams, there is a possibility Bolduc, Neighbours, and Dickinson could all wind up playing against each other in the Memorial Cup.

This will be a nice afternoon. Tanner Dickinson game just started, T-Birds in about an hour, and Neighbours game starting at 6 ET.

Soo Greyhounds win 5-4 over the Erie Otters. Dickinson had a PPG, went 3 for 10 on faceoffs and was not on the ice for an even strength goal against - again... In 18 games played, Dickinson has been on the ice for a whopping 1 even strength goal against sitting at a nice +12, which isn't that common for a center in the CHL. There are 4 centers, including Dickinson, who are over +10 in the OHL. He's also 4th in the OHL in shots on goal - as a center. He leads OHL centers in SOGs. That's something the Blues could really use - a center who actually shoots the puck.

Oil Kings win 3-2. No scoring from Neighbours today.

Oil Kings defeated Red Deer Rebels 5-3 Wednesday night. Neighbours had a 3 assist game and was named the 3rd Star.

Soo Greyhounds lost 5-3 to the Erie Otters. Tanner Dickinson scored a goal and had a very rare -1 game.

Bolduc was all 0s other than 3 shots on goal in a 4-2 loss to the Moncton Wildcats.

Tanner Dickinson with 1 G 2A (one assist on the power play), +2 (so again not on the ice for an even strength GA) 4/11 on faceoffs, 8 SOGs in a 5-4 loss.

Neighbours all 0s -1 with 9 SOG in a 3-2 loss.

Bolduc with 2 Gs (one an empty netter), +2, 3/5 on faceoffs, only 2 SOGs (which both scored) in 4-1 win.

Bolduc with another 2 goal game, including scoring on the opening shot on goal in a 4-3 win over Acadia-Bathurst. Bolduc only had 3 shots on goal but all 3 were "dangerous" shots. Wound up +3. He's now tied for the team lead in goals scored with Rochette. Rochette still has 6 more assists and 1 more game played. While Bolduc is listed as a center, he's clearly playing wing, since he's only taken 7 face-offs all season, won 4 of them.

Jake Neighbors 2G 1A today (assist was on the power play) in an Edm Oil Kings 5-3 win over the Saskatoon Blades.

Dickinson was all 0s today in a 2-0 win over Sarnia, but led the team in shots on goal (7) and went 7/13 on faceoffs. Dickinson is their defensive zone faceoff guy and most of this game was played in the Sarnia end which resulted in Rory Kerins, their #1 center and Calgary 6th round pick, taking 21 faceoffs. It's usually a little more balanced.

Jake Neighbours had a 3 assist game in an 8-2 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers

Tanner Dickinson had 1 assist, 6/14 on faceoffs, 5 shots on goal (tied for 2nd on the team in this game) and managed to again not be on the ice for an even strength goal against in a 7-2 win over the Guelph Storm

Bolduc was 0s with 3 shots on goal (2 dangerous shots), 1 hit, and +1 in a 2-1 win over the Drummondville Voltigeurs. Quebec has slowed down just a bit after their crazy hot start to the season. It's not just Bolduc, scoring is down for the whole team compared to what they were doing in October and the 1st 2 weeks of November.

Jake Neighbours registered a 2nd consecutive 3 point game with 2 G, 1A, +3, 3 SOG in a 7-4 win over the Moosejaw Warriors. For the season: 9 GP 5G, 11A, +8, 6 PPA, 1 short-handed assist.

3 point game for Soo Greyhounds Tanner Dickinson. 2G 1A (PPG, PPA), +1, led team with 6 SOG, 5/12 on faceoffs. Which means he again was not on the ice for an even strength goal against. In 23 games played, Dickinson has been on the ice for a whopping 2 even strength goals against.

23 GP: 11 G 21 A +15 3 PPG 14 PPA 1 SHG 101 SOG (4th in OHL)

I know plenty of prospects look good at the lower levels and never pan out even when they get to the AHL let alone the NHL but I'm just envisioning Dickinson centering Kyrou and their collective speed creating nightmares for opposing defenses.

Remparts defeat Halifax Mooseheads 3-2

Bolduc with 2 assists, +1, 6 shots on goal (2 high danger shots). Tied for most shots on goal this game with his linemate the undrafted, undersized, one year older Theo Rochette.

Neighbours with a 2 PP assist game in the Oil Kings 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Ice Wednesday night. I believe this was Neighbours last game before joining Team Canada for WJC camp.

And Tanner Dickinson finally had a bad game at even strength with a -2. He still had a PPG in the Greyhounds 5-4 OT loss to the North Bay Battalion Thursday night. Same deal with this likely being Dickinson's last game before joining Team USA for WJC camp.

Soo Greyhounds games this weekend are postponed due to Covid, so the next time there will be any news on Tanner Dickinson will be in relation to Team USA and the WJCs. Canada's camp started yesterday, so same deal with Jake Neighbours. Kinda surprised Zachary Bolduc wasn't invited.

Quebec beat the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 5-1 tonight. Bolduc had a 3 assist night, one of them on the power play. He's only 3 points behind Rochette for the team lead in scoring. Strongly suspect he'll be leading the team before the season ends.

Bolduc had a 2 goal game - GWG and empty netter - in Quebec's 5-2 win over Baie-Comeau Drakkar.

With Neighbours making Team Canada and Dickinson Team USA's preliminary roster - both for the WJCs, no more updates for them for a couple of weeks. Interesting note on Team USA - only one player is under 6'0 on the preliminary roster.

Bolduc had 1 assist and 4 SOGs in Remparts 6-2 win over the Victoriaville Tigers

For the season:
28 GP 13 G 20 A +16 93 SOG Shooting% 14.0

Bolduc is essentially replicating his rookie season with Rimouski. While he had more points per game his 2nd season (last year), he was shooting a ton more than he did both his rookie junior season and this one. Thing is his shooting efficiency was better that rookie season and this season.

He is currently 22nd in scoring in the QMJHL.

For what he's doing in juniors at 18, it's very positive for his future.

That being said, glen was dead-on right about Tanner Dickinson. Really looking forward to seeing him play in the WJCs for Team USA. Dickinson is someone who should challenge for a roster spot next season, even with the Blues depth. Even if he doesn't make it right away, time at Springfield with Bannister and crew should help based on what we are seeing this season. It seems like the Blues finally have their pipeline setup with the AHL coach having players NHL ready to play the style the Blues want them to play.
