It's not blind. There is still a chance they will make the playoffs so i will continue to be optimistic. It's just how I'm wired.

If there were 9 games left and they had to win 8 of them... well, different story entirely.

they are 5 freaking points out of the 8th spot with 23 games left. That's nothing. If they go on a tear, which is what I expect for a team with this much talent, they will make the playoffs. If not, oh well... life goes on.

Maybe I'm not invested enough. Maybe kodos has his asshole wrapped around this so much, he can't take anything but Ws at this point. I just don't really care all that much. I want them to win, yes, but if they don't, who really gives a (Frank)? I've been a hardcore Blues fan since the mid 70s. My disappointment ended a long ass time ago. i just try to enjoy watching the sport and liking certain players.

The thought of them winning is alien to me.

I DO want them to make the playoffs though. NOTHING beats playoff hockey. I'll be invested then, but if they don't get there, meh.
