Win or lose, Halak still blows. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time. Elliott should be the #1 here on out. Just listen to what his teammates say about his work ethic!

I was just typing that it was just a 1-0 game and not to make any grand pronunciations about Halak...then Petro had a completely crappy play that hung Halak out to dry. Still, it's not like Halak has completely opened the door for goal after goal.

Both goals were on 2 on 1 breaks. However, both times Halak had a clear view of the puck and the shooter. While the Blues players left Halak out to dry, those are the saves Elliot is making when the Blues in front of him break down.

Halak is doing a better job of tracking the puck and not giving up rebounds, which was the problem before.
