Had McDonald's tonight for the first time in a solid 2 or 3 months and I feel like absolute dog $hit.
Reminds me why I haven't had McDonald's in 2 to 3 months... ugh

I'll go a year without McDonald's. It's just not a place I go often..and if I do happen to get it...I never have issues.
However...if I go, I usually get the grilled chicken wrap. I can't remember the last time I got a burger there. If I want a burger, there are other places near my house I'd rather go...such as Steak 'n Shake, Hardees, Red Robin, Dairy Queen...
So I'm trying to get grass cut for the last time this season...and trying to get it in before the rain comes today.
I'm not cutting the whole 5 acres...probably just about 2 acres around the house as it's not terribly long, but it still could stand to be cut.
About 30 minutes into it, I notice the hub on the front right wheel of the riding mower is broke and the wheel is angling badly. So I pull it into the shed, take it off and head to the store to get another one. Sears Hardware didn't have any in stock, but Lowe's did...so I get back, put it on and head back out.
About 15 minutes into it this time and I notice the front left wheel has now broke...same way as the other one. WTF?
The mower is almost 4 years old and it has cut a LOT of grass, at 5 acres a pop each time I cut...but still. Weird.
So I pull into the shed, and I get the wheel off, and it starts to pour.
Ugh. I've probably only got about 20 more minutes of cutting...but now it's soaked out there.

I bought a new washer and dryer set last week from Lowes. They came out Friday to install it.
I thiefed the dryer cord off the old dryer and connected it to the new one (they wouldn't touch it.) No big deal.
Then when it comes to the washer, I put the old fill lines on the new one, but the installer says he can't hook it up and install the washer because I'm using old hoses. So I ask what if I just connect the lines and you set it up from there? He hims and haws and says he's really not suppose to do it and basically says I have to set it up on my own and leaves.
I go back to check my order and the new washer was suppose to come with its own fill lines anyway. I call Lowes. "Well weren't they in the box?" I tell the guy the installers unboxed them in the truck and wheeled them up. I never saw the boxes. So they basically say I can come in and pick up the new lines to take home. I tell them I want the installer back out there to finish the installation and level the unit like it's suppose to be.

Too many people are playing mega-millions, so I'll probably have to share my jackpot with some douchebag who doesn't need it or wouldn't know what to do with it.

Ever hit a moment with your job where you realize you've given all you can give for the company/your job? I think that happened to me today. I know it's easy to complain about work but this was different. It was the realization that after all promises that things were going to turn around and that I was working for the common good of my co-workers, etc., nothing had changed whatsoever.
So if you know of anyone hiring anywhere....

I hate how we're halfway through July and that 2012 Playoff banner showing our amazing feat of winning 4 whole games is still right up there above where I'm typing this.

I hate that Curt took down our playoff banner. This place just isn't the same as it used to be...
