Dubnyk's subpar play goes back to the last 5 games of the season. He hasn't been that good for pretty much 8 of the last 9 games now. And he wasn't tested at all in his shutout in game 3. But the media will never tell you any of that. Dubnyk is great, he has been for months. Blah, blah.

Not sure what happened with my DVR. But it missed the first 8 minutes of the game. I turn it on and it's 2-0 already.

Still got to see Dubnyk lit up for 4 more goals...so that's something I guess.

My wife decided she wanted to switch over to watch the Rags overtime. I assumed it would be quick (which it was), so how much action could I possibly miss? Sure enough, I missed goal #1 and #2.

The talent has been on this roster for two years to win in the playoffs, but the team never seems to figure out how to do it.

They have played two fantastic games, an inconsistent game, and a complete turd. Here's to hoping they can figure out how to play like last night going forward.

Minny will adjust, let's hope the Blues can meet that too.

One thing I noticed last night was the Blues forecheck was stellar. That's how we kept getting beaten by LA and CHI, especially LA. We couldnt' get across our own blue line for most of the games. Putting that kind of pressure on the back line leads to goals.

I've seen some quotes on Twitter this morning from a few former players (Terry Yake and Jim Campbell, specifically), both indicating that it seems like, or they heard, that there were discussions between players and coaches between Game 3 and 4. Yake seemed to allude to players asking to open things up, but I also wonder if it was just as simple as them saying to Hitch (or Muller/Shaw), "Hey, let's roll the lines that got us here."

Personally, I don't think it's a coincidence for Backes and Stastny getting their first goals of the postseason after being paired with the guys they played 90% of the season with. Just keep the lines the same, Hitch. Please.
